Tribes are the Factions in Horizon Zero Dawn are the different social groups that the people on the world have organized into. Each tribe has its own orientation and agenda as well as a distince culture defined by the local environment. Aloy may find new pieces of Armor from tribes which confer benefits related to the tribe. Tribes
- The various tribes differ in how they feel about the machines. Some of them believe the machines becoming more violent is punishment from the gods.
- You will not be recruiting factions to your cause but you can purchase different Equipment from them as well as take on Quests that explore their stories.
- Aloy has been raised in the Nora Tribe, but the tribe completely ignores her existence. The Nora is a matriarchal tribe, ruled by women.
