Trampler is a hostile Enemy machine in Horizon Zero Dawn that the players can confront to obtain Experience and Loot.  It can also be found in normal and corrupted variations.

Trampler Description

• A Trampler resembles an enormous bovine bull, with a massive head, neck and chest, thick forelegs and a relatively smaller hind section and hind legs. A pair of huge hornlike excavators, called excavating horns, are located on its massive head. These are used for digging up soil and rock.

Trampler Combat Information

• Behavior Info:Each Trampler in a herd works constantly, stopping only to change location to another spot. Head down, the Tramper alternately tilts each side of its head downward, using each excavating horn to dig.
  • When engaged in combat, Tramplers are reckless and charge at the enemy without a second thought.
• Weakness: Freeze
• Resistance: Fire

Trampler Attacks

• Mineral Explosion: Releases flammable gas around it, then ignites it. It deals 300 damage.
• Charge: Charges at the target, leaving a trail of fire. Deals 200 damage. The fire trail does 10 damage per second for 10 seconds.
• Dust Cloud: Clouds of dust that reduces the enemy visibility. Deals 210 damage.
• Ground Blast: Forward directional attack with blast wave behind it. Deals 300 damage.
• Hind Leg Strike: Kicks at the enemy with hind legs. Deals 200 damage.
• Horn Thrash: Uses its horn as a bludgeon. Deals 200 damage.

Trampler Location

• Tramplers are invariably found in herds at sites scattered throughout the arid regions of the Carja Sundom.
• Tramplers are never accompanied by recon or combat machines as guards. The simple reason for this is that they are powerful enough to adequately defend themselves against threats.
